Walls closing in
push back.
Stumble.
Once, twice, thrice
falling mightily
sprawling onto
Gaia.
Terra.
Laying prostrate
implored
galvanized
and
divorced
from the hoarseness of defeat.
Standing up –
stronger backs,
not lighter burdens
emboldened
to pull the curtains back.
For
empowerment –
not weakness
that leaves
one in pieces
the telltale signs
creases of stress
tells best
but
blesses better
giving way to peace of mind
in time.

I am digging through the crates and I found my first gem. Love this poem especially this part. “…standing up, stronger backs not lighter burdens” ❤

Thank you, I often find myself reminding myself of this very thing, daily.
