In world where narratives that would endeavor to spoil the milk of human kindness seem to run rampant.
Where a candidate for the highest office in the land can spew invective and procure a large following of people who hold up those words up as the proverbial gospel.
Where young people in an institution of learning can hang up a “confederate flag” and profess ignorance of the bigotry, division and rancor that it encompasses – and express bewilderment at being castigated as narrow-minded bigots.
Where people can wax poetic about that which has been taken from them, but when the coffers of giving are open, it is revealed that they have taken more than they have tendered to the world that they are part of.
In the midst of it all I will choose to double down on my journey to be empowered as I search for God’s face.
Not knowing it all, but knowing that:
God doesn’t have to shout when whispering is enough.

Nothing as of yet as they are denying responsibility, it is such a travesty to say the least.
