The crime of envy…

We envy what people have – that end game of a respective journey, but strangely we aren’t enamored of the same road of struggle that they were compelled to travel.

If you’re going to envy – it doesn’t compel you to be lazy about it.

Envy the struggle and its fruits – or don’t envy at all.

Or – better yet, get your own, savor your own path.

  1. Good Morning, and good post. This mirrors something I’ve long believed. Envy of someone else’s rewards is supposed to make you more passionate about your own goals, so much more passionate that it makes you work twice as hard trying to achieve them. If you aren’t willing to work harder, then envy is a wasted emotion.
