The discomfit of being Told…

It is like

an omnipresent effort

being a pawn

in a game –

of humanity being

consistently

inconsistent.

That skin

that won’t bend –

subjected to the duality

of avoiding

consecutive blows

targeted to concurrently impact

the body and soul.

If it makes you

uncomfortable

hearing about it –

imagine the cruel irony

of having to

go through it?

Live it

Taste it.

Feel it.

Hear it.

Be seen.

Not heard.

Told.

To get over it.

Told.

That it is okay

while the acidity

of not having

to know –

ferments into the

pungent swill of ignorance

only to eat

away at the foundation.

Extrapolate that over

the course of a lifetime.

Those raging rapids

of otherness

clashing against

colossus of invective

in waters that

won’t be stilled.

    1. After all…Jewish people can talk about the real truth of the holucost, Native people can talk about the real truth of the Native American Massacre or Holucost, Confederate Soldiers can retell their stories about the Civil War…though “Fact Checker” May find many and holes of these retelling as many of these stories are based
on lies by the group!” It was a massive endeavor to withhold the truth and put in history books!!! We are the only race that can’t express our give 100s of Years later without some hollering out like we’ve personally attacked them in some way!!! Huh!!! In Our case it’s been a mass effort to cover up the truth!!! What happens when there’s know personal family history to pass down to all generations? We lose Our way and some of use emplode or “self destruct.” We are a special race…why would everyone want get on the campaign to destroy us?
