The bemoaned of the borrowed

Student loans
borrowing from our sanity
the cruel reality
of balances
not going
nowhere
while corporate conglomerates
get subprime bailouts
at twice
the amount
with nary a shout…

what’s that all about?

macroeconomics
divide and conquer
point at them

while taking from
the whole

it is shonuff
cold
and bold

done in your
face –

they should at least
say grace.

but I digress.
because these loans
roam and burden
serving as
the sad impetus
for what
could be a tome…

but limited in
this instance
as a poem.
