The indomitable art

The test of leadership
should not
be measured
solely
in the mediums
of profit margins…
in the financial
while neglecting that
of the human spirit –
indomitable is not?

We seem to have
lost the compass…
on the art of human kindness –

in lieu of
embracing the darkness
of subterfuge, bullying
and overcompensation
of cruelty doled out
via sinister grins
that hide behind
lying smiles.

Anyone who harbors the belief
that acknowledging the
humanity of the humans
that comprise
the organization
as a weaknesses
or a business inefficiency
to be discarded…
will soon find themselves
in the desert, alone
bemoaning the
bitter fruits of their fate.
