When we pretend

We want to pretend
that the monster
ain’t us,
so we
point at others…
our sisters and brothers,
with the intent
to minimize their
humanity…
segue to eliminating
the nature of the threat.

Alas, see what ignorance
has beget?
We don’t read no more
we make it up…
and use feelings
for reference.

As they
see arts and sciences
as biased.

This is not logical
how is this possible?

We shout loudly and
proudly, while
saying nothing,
oblivious to
the repercussions
that is the
sacrificing
of us.

From a wicked world.
Where we validate
the vile
and allow
our women
to be bemirsched
by geriatric men
and hustling hoteps,
reveling in their
misdeeds
while neglecting
to read
they don’t espouse
wisdom
but foolishness.
