Those wandering horizons

The cruel duality of humanity is crippling.

Oblivious to the conundrum which is the fading shadows of self.

Accordingly, we wander discombobulated – to an intersection where we are compelled to tender a pledge.

An allegiance to innocence or acquiescence to ignorance?

Blissfully unaware that that both paths lead to purgatory.

While hope beckons on the horizon.
