Like a predator –
utilizing stealth
to hunt its prey.
As ignorance is inclined to metastasize.
Taking root in the confines of a colonized mind –
that can never endeavor to be refined.
Words are discounted as encumbrances –
instead of acknowledged –
as segues
to the fertile fields of erudition.
Oblivious to the squalor.
Of our condition being
tantamount to decomposition.
(Sentenced to wash away in currents)
Rather than laying down roots in truth.
