Twisting caravans –
on linked journeys
those hands
that were locked
stand loosened but not broken –
in dispersals of purpose.
When knees bend
the strong digress –
perpendicular to their burdens
forgetting to float.
But
those
same souls
filled with sorrow
will soon overflow
with grace –
those faces that
tears have tasted –
will soon trade places with
the majestic spires
of our faith.
