The faux robes

separate but equal

~~Guns~~ seem to have more
rights than
people

woman shut your face
you of the hue
stay in your place

how dare you
to endeavor
to aspire
higher without
acknowledging the fire
of inadequacy
that burns hot –
it shouts
calling out falsity
pointing out
so that eyes
won’t turn within
to see that sin

wrapped in the faux robes

of superiority
or supremacy.

The fear of unknown
or the fear
of karma –

causing souls
to pause
like a comma.
