When hypocrisy glows

When their hypocrisy
is glowing…
Lord know
we be knowing,
all the treachery
and double dealing
taking from the
offering plate…
no saving grace,
no empathy
to give
as these whatchamacallems
nowadays
would be inclined
to call Jesus
a sucker
as love
for our fellow man…
is seen as
a deficiency…
with
this double cross
coming at a
heavy cost.
