Without melodies

World without you?
I’d be blue…

like Tom Hanks
playing Otto…

my Aphrodite,
you is mighty
and purdy…
your aura
I adore,
opposite of
nutty like a professor
my peace
in a wicked world…

you make
my heart palpitate,
no small feat
verily I say unto thee
my sweetest melodie,
as we pour shiraz
in venues
that are Nice
on the sea…
manifesting ways
to break shackles
and tackles
on the gridiron
of living…
likened to icons in 34 frequencies
from windy coordinates
of Chicago,

living in an opposite world
with rulers wielding felonies,
numbering 20 plus 14…
talking in codes
so the dodo’s
can’t behold
these darts
of metaphor
or swords
to excise strangleholds
or burdens… that
would extinguish
that which was
written.

A reading of said piece as part of: The Pa and Son Adventures… words over the sonic poetry of my son, a Music therapist and Musician, known as the GentlemanBoss.
