Harboring, sheltering, paying homage

to

brutality

tinged with calloused

seething rage.

Unable to see

through the haze

yet

stoic.

Euphoric, triumphant

Unapologetically

Admittedly

Confessed.

Convicted

as a murderer

of

words, thoughts, lowered expectations

and the accompanying sensations

uttered by naysayers.
