The byproduct of a disregard for history is a short memory.
Harboring a respect for history is the beginning of empowerment, because of its cyclical nature, wielding this understanding can allow one to see the future through the proverbial peek hole.
Absent of this is the sad cycle of disempowerment which is history repeating itself.
History is a tool for those who embrace her lessons and a weapon against those rebuff her.
Run towards her waters and drink deeply.
