Of leopards and faces

Commercializing
our survival strategies
then charging it
back to us
for a fee…
or weaponizing it
as a crudgel
to smother those
who had the
druthers to
persevere
in the winds
of the wicked
not hiding
in the thickets…
but thriving
in board rooms
no hanging of heads,
the opposition,

they didn’t wake up
nor are they just..
the policies,
didn’t correspond
to the leopards
eating of their
face.
