These lessons we endure.
What we go through in our respective travails of life can be likened to sentences that we are mandated to serve.
With the Almighty serving as:
Judge, Jury, Warden and Executioner.
We are slaves, prisoners to that which controls us.
Like the prison industrial complex, our time on this planet we are subject to:
Years of incarceration
versus
The death penalty
Parole on good behavior
or
Freedom, the sweet savor of freedom.
A power likened to the chains that once restrained us being washed away.
As for me I choose the power that is procured by freedom – I am free and made consequential by virtue of that.
