One of the questions that I always dreaded to hear would come from my parents.
Everytime something went down they would ask:
“It takes two to tango.”
“What did you do?”
“What part did you play in whatever has transpired?”
I always sat dumbfounded, never wanting to express my culpability in whatever had unfolded.
But, as I got older’ I realized that their query applied to something larger, as this is something that plays out…
Daily, on the stage of life.
What have we done?
What is our part?
And most importantly:
Are we truly guiltless?
