Ode to hypocrites
Sometimes we have to summon those latent reserves of courage that will empower us to look those hypocrites in the eye – telling them that you deserve more than the offer that they are tendering.
As I look in the mirror and utter those words to the one staring back me – with an understanding that breaking his spirit will enable something greater to rise in his place.
Author, Genealogist, Writer, Poet, Podcast Host, possessor of 2 cents, Blogger and eternal student of life, who harbors a firm belief in his Grandmother's mantra that:
"People need to get off of their rump and do something".
All while keeping in mind that a cheering section will often get in the way.
