An epiphany: When our our feet are on the brakes

Humility serves as the brakes, on the journey of our lives.

Without being compelled to fall upon our knees at the behest of our burdens.

We would otherwise be subjected to tumbling headlong over the cliff, into molten confines of blissful ignorance.

Quiet as kept.

Humility is what allows us to catch our breath, to breathe in the mercy and grace that we thought had forsaken us.

Those obstacles in our path are a cause for celebration.

Kneel.
