We will all kneel…
Whether it is in deference to that which sustains and envelopes us in the confines of grace.
Or we will kneel, broken…
As a victim – acquiescing to the burdens that prey upon the haughty and unwilling.
To kneel is not an negotiable act.
Because humility WILL beckon.
You will be called.
Kneel.

I definitely agree with this and can very much relate. I have had my own moments when I have been forced to kneel, and though I’ve always been resistant in the beginning, eventually I would learn that it’s for my own benefit. That I wasn’t being forced to break down, but in fact, was being asked to surrender all the baggage that has been weighing me down – so I can lift up naturally.

Yes, the cathartic act leaves us with more power than we could have hoped to have when we started out.
Thanks for chiming in!
