Dancing with charlatans

The cruel duality of a presence that is reviled while their essence is mimicked, pillaged and lusted after.

Discerning eyes will notice those who are quick to scramble away in the midst of what is interpreted as an uncontrolled descent.

Avoided like the plague.

Those the same people who fled.

Will prowl in the staging grounds of your ascent, clamoring to board the vessel (you) as you sail into the horizons of triumph.

Be wary…

Because it is that weight, their dead weight that will always lead to a tumble back to Earth.

Let them flee so that you can be free.

I love this. There is nothing like that reemergence after you’ve shed that dead weight.

Oh my goodness, you are my angel this week. I was just talking to a friend about how to better accept jettisoning the old to make room for the new. It’s the in-between time that can be hard or anticipatory, but the way you present it–I think I can lean toward anticipatory:).

    1. Indeed, we can’t expect people to love is the way that we want them to love us…

While learning to keep them out of the confines of our orbit when they threaten to poison us.
