A Love conscripted or Words on Nuptials for Nick

Brushing off my wedding poetry chops for my man 50 grand… Nick and his bride on their special day.

Since I can’t be there… words do travel:

When destiny

feeds into synchronicity

the tumult
will falter
against the

worthy –
a love conscripted
from the glorious
domains –

the unblemished
sort

that will never
be consumed
but redemptive.

tendered on knees
that are loathe
to buckle
or bend.

A portrait of brotherhood DNA need not apply (wedding poetry or a remote toast).

  1. Wow, this was a great piece! Do you have any advice for someone looking to improve their writing?

    1. Thank you for the kind words Scribe… the best advice I can tender? Lean into your emotions, be predisposed to floating on them versus sinking beneath the depths, if that makes sense. The emotive is a muse not an impediment.
