I’ve often been known to say that synchoncity seldom misses and this rung true a couple of months ago when my path crossed with the influential speaker, Author and host of the award winning Going North podcast… Dom Brightmon and I graciously accepted an offer to appear on his podcast.

It was a free flowing conversation where we delved into the two books in my From the Water’s Edge series, my forthcoming cookbook, the creative process, the challenges of genealogy for African American and the notions of purpose in a world that seems to have lost its way.
