Convicted and sentenced- A poem

Imprisoned in a tomb

of those words

served as

judge, jury and executioner

sentenced to endure

the fury of your

incarcerated in a prison

by your

accused, convicted

serving time

for a crime

left to lanquish

marinating in

that is

silent to all

but deafening

to the afflicted.

The echoes

of what once

and now

manifested as

smoldering embers

to be

extinguished by tears

that are never ending.
