When in the desert

People are quick to scream loudly from the mountaintops about saving the world.

All while wandering blindly in deserts of contradiction, thirsting for providence.

But – if we wander without contrition.

We will never receive the fruits of what is stored up for us – that journey into our Promised Land will go unrealized.

I’ve learned that I must abandon my burdens in the desert – and die to what was…

So that I can ensure my release from my wanderings and enter into consequence.
