Walls closing in

push back.

Stumble.

Once, twice, thrice

falling mightily

sprawling onto

Gaia.

Terra.

Laying prostrate

implored

galvanized

and

divorced

from the hoarseness of defeat.

Standing up –

stronger backs,

not lighter burdens

emboldened

to pull the curtains back.

For

empowerment –

not weakness

that leaves

one in pieces

the telltale signs

creases of stress

tells best

but

blesses better

giving way to peace of mind

in time.
