I’ve gotten into the habit of decompressing towards the end of the day and forcing myself to look at lesson(s) that I’ve procured from it.
Today was particularly sobering as I thought of the fickle nature of our humanity and the tendency to assume that the world is at our beck and call.
And it isn’t…
My Tuesday takeaway was this:
We often treat life with reckless abandon, as if we “own” it rather than “owning” the reality and savoring it.
Embracing the fact that this gift is tendered with an unspoken understanding that…
It is borrowed, and that which is borrowed must be ultimately be returned.
Incredible and true 🙂

Lol…I epically fail at it every other day. Love this piece by the way.
